Lila Bass
"I remember my first fish like it was yesterday. Sitting on a tiny dock
with my grandpa on Jim Ned Creek off Lake Brownwood, I got bored with
my worm and bobber, started dragging it around and snagged a tiny
little perch … I was hooked. Grandpa, Daddy and I spent many hours
watching bobbers on lakes and rivers in Texas and Arkansas.""Years later, I took up fly-fishing, and for a few years enjoyed striding the streams and lakes in New Mexico. Chasing those beautiful trout was an exercise of love and faith. But fishing truly hooked me when I met my husband Michael. We fished all the waters around Austin, TX via kayak, canoe and bass boat. He introduced me to tournament fishing through the BFL, and that was it. The chase was on!"
"Fishing has truly changed my life. You just can’t fake fishing! To fish successfully, one must live in the moment, be at one with nature and give whatever is necessary to commune with the fish. There has been no better teacher in my life."

inflated air bladder. Sure Life products and "fizzing" helped save the
life of this fish. They are an integral part of my fishing and I keep
them in boat at all times..."
